VAS settings are verified and distributed to mobile terminals

Print

m.Profile transmits access settings for GPRS/EDGE/3G services offered to subscribers (WAP, MMS, etc.) to a mobile terminal.

Settings are sent to a subscriber's terminal if an attempt was made to access a service using incorrect parameters, for example, an incorrect APN, server or resource address, access port, etc. The module supports a flexible system of rules for detecting incorrect requests and a configurable mechanism for determining the requested service.

m.Profile - Settings for GPRS/EDGE/3G Services on Mobile Terminals

m.Profile performs the following functions:
  • parses and analyzes NAS and WAP gateway log files in real time;
  • upon identifying an unsuccessful attempt to access a WAP, MMS, etc. service, identifies the mobile terminal MSISDN, IMSI, and IMEA, along with the incorrect APN name used by the terminal in the access attempt;
  • determines and analyzes the incorrect APN name and what specific service was requested;
  • makes sure that the terminal supports the requested service, using a mobile terminal information database;
  • sends the subscriber an SMS message that precedes forwarding of settings;
  • sends the settings server a command to transmit settings to the mobile terminal.
The distribution includes the following:
  • A software license agreement;
  • Documentation;
  • Warranted technical support.
In addition, we can perform:
  • Installation and integration tasks;
  • Personnel training;
  • Customization for the customer's infrastructure;
  • Technical support after the end of the warranty period.
